What is Nicotine?
What it does to your body?
Long lasting effects

What is Nicotine?
More than 35 million individuals make an attempt to quit smoking each year, and  less than 5% are successful without a program like NICOTOR. This occurs because nicotine is one of the most addictive and most frequently used legal drugs on the market. Once in the brain, its effects are more addictive than cocaine. Each cigarette often contains more than 10 milligrams (mg) of nicotine and more than 4,000 chemicals found in the smoke of a cigarette. When inhaled a smoker absorbs about 2 mg of nicotine. Each puff from a cigarette conveniently delivers nicotine enriched blood to the brain within seconds. Now, nicotine may be absorbed through the skin and or the mucosal lining of the mouth or nose. Chronic use of cigarettes provide the nicotine you have trained your body to become accustomed to and may also cause such things as irritability, anxiety, and poor concentration. To prevent this crave, some will chew nicotine gum or wear a patch; both of which inject an addictive concentration of nicotine into the body. It is obvious that nicotine is addictive because there have been a tremendous increases in the sale and distribution of cigarettes. People are smoking more cigarettes now than ever despite the well documented adverse health effects associated with it. Now, most people who start smoking will attempt to quit at least once, however they fail because they are not accustomed to the dealing with the withdrawal symptoms.

What it does to your body?
Once the drug is in the system, you must maintain this level or higher to prevent the cravings. This is why the addiction is so difficult to break. In order to prevent the side effects such as restlessness and anxiety, you must have at least that amount or more. Now many habits are associated with these effects. Some of these habits include troubles with the job, boredom, restlessness which, in a manner of speaking, compels you to the next puff. Our goal is for you to reacquaint your brain with lesser amounts of nicotine on a daily basis; not to continue to infuse this dangerous drug. With the NICOTOR formula a person does not have to deal with these symptoms, our formula helps to readjust your habits and associations.

Long lasting effects of nicotine:
Perhaps even greater concern than the nicotine itself is the 4000 other chemicals you ingest during this nicotine crave.

Effects on Men: Men who smoke are at a greater risk for erectile dysfunction, decreased fertility, increased sterility and a significant decreased in life expectancy. They will encounter baldness at a younger age and may even develop an early wrinkled skin appearance. There is an associated increase in risk for strokes, and a variety of other respiratory disorders.

Effects on women: There is also some association of hair thinning and wrinkled skin appearance in women who smoke. There might be a loss of sex drive and increased chance of infertility. Women will also have more complications during pregnancy and is at an increased risk for pre and post labor problems such as premature rupture of the membrane—your water breaks much sooner than normal, which puts your baby at significant risk for infection. Babies born to women that smoke have a slower rate of physical and psychological development. There is also an association of low birth weight and unexplained death. Other complication include: early menopause, irregular menstrual cycles, a higher rate of miscarriages and fetal death syndrome.

Irrespective of sex: In medical school we learned that if a person develops certain types of lung cancer they are a smoker until proven other wise. For the most part that statement continues to be true. Smoking continues to be the most significant preventable cause of coronary artery disease (a leading cause of death in the U.S). There is often an associated high blood pressure with or without other circulation problems which often can be adequately managed by stop smoking. Other symptoms include: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis, emphysema, and reflux disease. Smoking is also a major cause of cancers of the neck such as (larynx, pharynx, and mouth). There is also an increased risk for bone fracture and osteoporosis.
