I am Dr. DD Walker and I am the owner/CEO of Mudpiles.com. This site started in 2005 during my Internal Medicine Residency after realizing that there weren’t many sources available in which physicians could easily access to find commonly referenced medical information.  I realized that medicine require more than just a school name or class ranking: you had to know how to access information very quickly; ideally a one stop source. Knowing how and where to get information is paramount; a memory key used as a URL—Mudpiles.com does just that. If you have everything a physician uses on one page and a clever memory key the physician has a better chance of remembering and able to navigate back to his/her information highway. New physicians need to quickly recognize other medical items that they need as they navigate through the pages; lab coats, PDA and such; as we all know, interns have no time to waste.  I know that it is very hard to stay ahead of medical information; physicians need a place where they can quickly find medically relevant information.
